1. Ensure you have the following hardware before you begin.




2. Unbox the hardware and ensure you have the cables and screws as per below.





3. Plug the ribbon cable into the screen as per below.




4. Using the provided screws, attach the Raspberry Pi to the touch screen ensuring that the ribbon cable connectors are both on the same side as per below.




5. Attach the ribbon cable from the touch screen to the Raspberry Pi as per below.




6. Attach the ground and +5V jumper wires to the correct pins as per below.




7. Gently bend the pins on the Raspberry Pi over until they are not quite at right angles. Do this very slowly so as to not break the pins. Tuck the jumper wires in between the Raspberry Pi and the touch screen to keep them out of the way as per below.




8. Gently install the PoE Hat on top of the Raspberry Pi board until it is level and just touching the bent over pins. No screws are required at this stage.
