1 - Create the CSV

Create a CSV file with the following headers:


Serial Number* Asset Tag* Category* Model Name* Manufacturer* Status Company

*required


2 - Import the Data

1. Go to http://assets.lindisfarne.nsw.edu.au/import and select the CSV with Select Import File... .

2. Click Process and select Assets as the Import Type.

3. The Import Fields should auto populate - manually select them if not automatically selected.

4. Click Import to complete the process.


Notes

  • The import may fail or reach only 10%. If this happens try shortening the number of assets in the CSV file (250 has worked previously).
